As a culture, the Japanese seem to be quite light on their feet. I was a dance instructor for 33 years & teaching people to be light on their feet is everything when first learning to dance, especially with a partner. In the USA, most people tramp quite heavily as they walk; so I conclude that this is mostly how Japanese can ‘ninja’ their way through even the most dense of crowds. Arigato 🙏🏼

For me, "telepathy" may be hinting to the other party what they want. Other regions or cultures may not be "telepathy", but they might want others to be more straightforward.

The rent here in Spain is so big, and the inflation don't help, almost all people that I know expend the 70% percent of the salary in the rent only... so is necessary as you said share flat or, if you live with your partner both work.

Japanese people navigating in crowds, such a blessing! I live in a very crowded city in Europe and I can tell you we Europeans do NOT have these abilities to dodge and navigate. People really aren't aware of their surroundings and people bump into me all the time. At my previous job I had to pass through a shopping area to get to my job, often I made it just in time because tourists were in the way and not letting me pass through xD

Aki, your videos are exceptional and bring a lot of peace! Your guest is misinformed about sugar however. Sugar isn’t typically made from sugar cane, but instead is from the sugar beet. The idea that cane sugar isn’t available is absolutely not the case either. We have an abundance of raw sugar available, even in the basic grocery stores. I’m from Canada, and my habits are not as wonderful as the ones from this video. Inspirational!!

In the netherlands i also clean the public toilet after use, also the sink. I never thought about karma or bonus points in heaven, you just don.t leave a dirty toilet behind for the next user. I pick up trash from the street and especially in nature areas. Not for bonus points in heaven….. i don.t want animals the suffocate by eating plastic. A filter sigaret takes 100 years to solve by nature. So i help nature to get rit of it.

Do not pass food from chopsticks to chopsticks, this is only done when passing bones of ancestors, Also do not stick chopsticks straight in rice as you are telling the person and the eating establishment that their food is only fit to eat by a dead person, which is a huge insult. This only for offerings to ancestors. Very informative and entertaining video.

The 7:3 beer ratio is actually _much more foam_ than most people in most other parts of the world consider appropriate for beer, and would actually be considered poor service in many places, because it means that you agitated the beer too much during pouring so it produced more foam (and lost more carbonation) than is ideal for optimal flavor and drinking experience. So what the Japanese consider a "perfect" pour would actually be considered "flawed" in most of the rest of the world. Also, it's also against the law to honk your horn unnecessarily in most (if not all) of the US, too, and you can be fined for it here, too. The horn is supposed to be used only to inform people of a hazardous situation, so honking at somebody else because they're not moving, or they annoyed you, etc, is actually illegal in the US too. However, many drivers do not even know it's illegal, and most of the time the police do not really enforce these laws.
